Amtrak P42 number 68 has just pulled train 92, the eastbound Silver Star, into Washington Union Station. The 68 and another trailing diesel will be cut off here and an electric engine will be added to head the train up the Northeast Corridor towards New York Penn Station. Amtrak AEM-7 934 and MARC HHP-8 4910 wait to depart Union Station with evening commuter trains.
